I Will Love You More

For Valentine's day that's just around the corner, I wanted to share this adorable video.  I love absolutely everything about it- the cinematography, the still motion videos, the Kate Spade designs, and the fabulous jewelry.


Gotta get me a pair of those Taxi mittens.... and that yellow cardigan, and that beaded necklace, and that transporter chair, and that yellow birdcage, and the red teapot, and that handbag display wall (with all the pretty purses)!

I Heart Valentine's Day

Happy (late) Valentine's Day!! As  cliché   , overdone, and cheesy this love day may be, I have to admit- I'm a huge sucker for Valentine's Day!  For Vday, I always like to make a special dinner, that I don't make very often- yesterday I made mussels!!!  Mussels are one of my favorite sea foods- so I made a mussel pasta, and it turned out oh so yummy! The first thing I did was boil the mussels for about 7 minutes.  Then, I boiled a handful of thin spaghetti- in the mean time, I heated 1/2 cup of olive oil in a pot.  I then put one petitely diced onion into the oil, and waited for it to turn golden.  Soon after, I added 2 tablespoons of fresh minced garlic.  Then, I added 3 diced tomatoes, 2 tablespoons of tomato paste, and about 1/2 cup of chopped cilantro (parsley would taste amazing with it too).  I flavored it with some salt, onion powder, and a little bit of fresh basil.  Then I mixed everything together, and brought them to a simmer.  I then added the boil
